As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. Position Summary The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as a critical link between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to successfully launch new products and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Project Management Develop and manage project plans in collaboration with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams. Monitor, document, and report project progress, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met. Execute the full project lifecycle from purchase order acceptance through production handoff. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and opportunities. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project expectations and timing requirements are clearly understood. Communicate project status, deliverables, schedules, costs, risks, and opportunities to both internal and external stakeholders. Lead project reviews, lessons learned activities, and continuous improvement implementation efforts. Collaborate with the Director of Engineering during critical project phases. Manufacturing & Process Support Review manufacturing documentation including control plans, PFMEAs, inspection instructions, and process routings for accuracy and quality. Support prototype development and launch activities. Assist in driving process improvements and timing reductions to support customer requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in project management, project coordination, or a similar role. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Strong risk assessment, planning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead meetings, maintain agenda focus, and document outcomes effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive manufacturing and new product launch activities. Engineering and/or quality background with exposure to manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, machining, or assembly. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. PMP certification or other recognized project management certification preferred.
