Responsibilities - Lead project planning sessions to develop comprehensive construction schedules using Primavera P6, Procore, or other project management software. - Manage all phases of construction projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review construction plans, schematics, and blueprints ensuring clarity and accuracy. - Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. - Monitor project progress regularly; adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. - Control project budgets by tracking costs using HeavyBid or similar tools; prepare detailed cost estimates and manage change orders effectively. - Lead project teams by managing subcontractors and internal staff; facilitate communication across all stakeholders for seamless project execution. - Ensure all construction documentation—including contracts, plans, and regulatory permits—is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. - Conduct site inspections to verify adherence to plans and specifications; address issues promptly to minimize delays or cost overruns. - Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and opportunities for senior management; present findings clearly and confidently. Experience - Proven minimum 5 years experience managing solar project. Utility scale preferred. - Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, or equivalent platforms. - Strong background in construction estimating, cost management, scheduling coordination, and project leadership. - Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans; familiar with construction regulations and safety standards. - Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively on-site while maintaining strict adherence to budgets and timelines. - Familiarity with construction regulatory compliance processes across different jurisdictions. - Solid understanding of contract management including negotiations, change orders, and legal considerations related to construction projects. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. - Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing complex infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
