Duties - Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget parameters. - Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software to optimize timelines and resource allocation. - Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure high performance and accountability. - Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. - Develop detailed construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating software to accurately forecast costs. - Review construction plans and blueprints thoroughly to ensure clarity and feasibility before project commencement. - Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes through ProCore, Prolog, or other construction management platforms. - Monitor project budgets continuously, implementing cost control measures to prevent overruns while maintaining quality standards. - Facilitate communication among stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for seamless project coordination. - Ensure all construction activities adhere to local regulations and industry best practices for regulatory compliance. Skills - Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and AutoDesk. - Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies for large-scale infrastructure projects. - Proven ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on safety and quality. - Deep understanding of construction scheduling principles including schedule coordination and project timeline optimization. - Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting construction plans, and managing contracts with a keen eye for detail. - Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies relevant to civil and commercial projects. - Demonstrated leadership in managing complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.
