What The Job Involves - Support sales team in the final phase of contract negotiation. - Review technical and commercial offer content to ensure feasibility and alignment with project execution needs. - Lead the full project lifecycle: from contract review, through engineering, procurement, production, installation, commissioning and handover to Service. - Translate customer contract and SOW into clear project scope, deliverables, and milestones. - Manage all contractual and legal aspects of the contract, including change orders claims, and all legal communication with the customer. - Develop and maintain project planning, action lists, risk registers and corresponding budget. - Coordinate activities between sales, engineering, supply chain, production, and installation teams. - Review and challenge technical documents to ensure feasibility, quality, and alignment with customer requirements. - Identify misalignments early and drive the teams toward corrective actions. - Maintain regular communication with customers, internal stakeholders, and third parties (contractors, suppliers). - Build strong working relationships, manage expectations, and prevent escalation through proactive communication - Organise and run project status meetings, steering committee meetings, and escalation meetings as required. - Report project progress, issues, and decisions to senior leadership. - Maintain accurate and complete project documentation and decision logs. - Anticipate risks (technical, timing, cost, ...) and drive mitigation plans. - Ensure deliverables comply with Automation’s engineering standards and customer contractual requirements. - Implement and participate to all quality gates: design review, QC in, supplier TOC, QC, FAT, SAT. - Monitor project financials, including actuals, cost-to-complete, invoicing and margin. - Regularly reforecast project budget, highlight deviations early and propose corrective actions. - Carefully and efficiently plan resources and work with procurement to optimize cost, without compromising on quality. - Capture lessons learned from each project and feed them back into tools, processes and standards. - Actively participate to the creation and improvement of Project Management standards, tools and processes. We Are Looking For Someone With - Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent). - 5–10+ years of experience managing customer-facing projects in an industrial, international and multicultural environment. - Excellent knowledge of Project Management methodologies, PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus. - Strong technical understanding (mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems) and willingness to always update it. Able to challenge designs, and verify execution. - Good financial literacy: budgeting, forecasting and cost control. - Customer oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including C-level exposure. - Problem-solving mindset, autonomous, proactive & hands-on. - Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
