Project HSE Manager
Job Title: Project HSE Manager Department: HSE Industry: General Contracting Experience: 15+ Years Over all experience and 5years as a manager in infrastructure project. Aldar Certified. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the HSE function for the project, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements and UAE HSE regulations. Develop, implement and monitor Project HSE Plans, risk assessments, method statements and emergency response procedures . Conduct regular site inspections, audits and safety meetings and ensure timely closure of HSE observations and non-conformities. Manage and supervise the HSE team, including training, toolbox talks, safety inductions and competency requirements . Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses , identify root causes and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with client, consultant, subcontractors and project management on all HSE-related matters. Monitor compliance with requirements for PPE, work permits, lifting operations, excavation, working at height, confined spaces and other high-risk activities . Prepare and maintain HSE reports, statistics, inspection records and audit documentation and support project management in achieving HSE objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering , Occupational Health & Safety or Level 6/7 in Diploma. 15+ years of HSE experience , preferably in large-scale civil/infrastructure/general contracting projects. Strong UAE construction experience with knowledge of local HSE regulations and client requirements . ISO 45001 Lead Auditor. NEBOSH IGC/International Diploma, IOSH, ADOSH Sr. practitioner or equivalent certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, incident investigation and risk-management skills.
