Project HSE Manager

We are looking for an experienced HSE Manager with 10+ years of relevant experience in construction to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE legislation, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Establish and monitor project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and safety programs.
• Lead and manage the HSE team across construction projects and sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
• Review and approve Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and HSE Plans .
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor and ensure proper reporting and close-out of HSE observations, NCRs, and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety meetings, training, and awareness programs.
• Ensure compliance with PPE, work-at-height, lifting, excavation, scaffolding, confined space, hot work, and other construction safety requirements .
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients on HSE matters.
• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly HSE reports, statistics, and performance reports.
• Maintain proper HSE documentation, records, inspection reports, and incident reports.
• Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Lead emergency preparedness and response activities, including drills where required.
• Support internal and external HSE audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field .
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HSE experience , preferably within the construction industry.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is required/preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification is required.
• IOSH / OSHA certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction HSE requirements and international safety standards.
• Proven experience managing HSE teams and overseeing multiple construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, safety audits, and HSE management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
