(for Mechanical engineer priority) Experience: 10+ Years CTC Budget: No bar for right candidate Company Website: Role Overview: Savvy is looking for an experienced Project Engineer/ Manager - MEP; the ideal candidate shall be responsible for designing, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, firefighting and plumbing systems in buildings and other construction projects. The ideal candidate shall also be responsible for collaborating with architects, construction teams, and other professionals to integrate these critical systems seamlessly into the building’s design, also focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability, aiming to minimize energy consumption and environmental impact. Alongside, the candidate must be proficient in end-to-end MEP, HVAC, Design and Integration, functions of MEP & HVAC documentations as per RERA Rules. Roles & Responsibilities: - Monitor and control MEP subcontractor activities. - Review MEP drawing and check as per IS code & Technical specifications legislations, procedures and practices. - Design heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and exhaust systems to control indoor climate and air quality in Residential & commercial. - Review and approve MEP submittals. - Validate designs and propose alternatives. - Maintain and update MEP changes on field drawings. - Assist in scoping and justifying MEP change orders. - Supervise & control on MEP installation, testing, & commissioning. - Facilitate problem-solving among MEP subcontractors. - Liaise with MEP consultants, inspectors, and staff. - Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards regarding MEP, HVAC & Firefighting work. - Assist in MEP equipment testing and commissioning in the final stage, identifying & holding in testing and commissioning. Key Acceptances -: Strictly working on Material preparation, execution of MEP & HVAC & Protection of residential/commercial building. - Mechanical & HVAC: heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and exhaust systems to control indoor climate and air quality. - Electrical Systems: Plan power distribution, lighting networks, and fire alarm or emergency backup systems. - Plumbing & Fire Protection: Water supply, drainage, sewage, and fire sprinkler networks. - Project Coordination: Resolve design clashes using Building Information Modelling (BIM) tools alongside architects and structural engineers. - Compliance & Safety: Ensure all designs and on-site installations comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. - Supervision & Commissioning: Inspect contractor work, manage cost estimates, and support testing and commissioning phases. Key Skills: - Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. - Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, electrical circuits, fluid mechanics, and codes like ASHRAE, NEC, or NFPA - Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP, Advantage for Navisworks, and BIM coordination workflows - Strong experience in residential & commercial buildings/ Data centre experience will be an advantage. (Industrial MEP will not be considered strictly). - Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with trade. - Project management proficiency. - Knowledge of energy efficiency. - Adaptability to new technologies and industry trends.
