# Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering Projects) **KINERGY ADVANCEMENT BERHAD** · Kuala Lumpur · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 12 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Summary: The Project Engineer (Electrical Engineering) / Senior Site Supervisor (Electrical Engineering) leads site supervisors, draughtsmen, subcontractors, and direct workers in delivering assigned projects in accordance with specifications, programme, budget, quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Core Responsibilities (by Function) i. Project Leadership & Delivery Lead Site Supervisors, Draughtsmen, subcontractors, and direct workers in managing assigned projects so that the works are completed according to specifications, programme, and budget. Ensure site works are carried out according to the approved work programme. Attend internal and external project site meetings. Regularly update the Senior Project Engineer, Site Manager, or Assistant Site Manager on site progress, inspections, submissions, manpower, and material status. ii. Submissions, Materials & Progress Administration Ensure the preparation and execution of project submissions, including work programmes, progress reports, Project Quality Plans, drawings, material catalogues or samples, memos, inspection forms, confirmations of instruction, and quotations. Provide supporting documents for material requisitions for the Project Manager's review before submission to Purchasing. Verify that subcontractors' completed work corresponds with their progress reports. Highlight unusual events and provide supporting documents for draft correspondence to the superior. iii. Site Coordination, Quality & Inspection Ensure all site coordination activities are carried out in accordance with approved requirements. Ensure work completed on site meets the required workmanship standards and internal training requirements. Prepare for and conduct inspections of subcontractors' work to confirm compliance with specified requirements. Check materials delivered to site to ensure they meet specified requirements. iv. Safety, Resources & Corrective Action Ensure site works are carried out safely and in compliance with site rules and applicable requirements. Ensure sufficient materials and manpower are available at the project site Ensure Non-Conformance Reports issued to subcontractors for non-compliance with specifications, method statements, statutory requirements, safety, health, environmental requirements, and site rules are closed. v. Records & General Support Maintain proper records of submission status and site events, including photographic records and site diaries, and ensure Head Office records such as daily reports, Requests for Information, inspection records, and monitoring lists are updated. Prepare site daily reports and submit them to Head Office weekly. Maintain proper filing and liaise with internal and external parties whenever necessary. vi. General Support Functions (Standard to all) Coordinate with site supervisors, draughtsmen, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal departments as required. Maintain orderly and complete project filing, site diaries, photographic records, submissions, reports, inspection records, and supporting documentation. Participate in meetings, inspections, reviews, and site coordination activities required to support project delivery. Communicate site status, unusual events, resource needs, and required actions clearly to the superior and relevant parties Qualifications: Diploma or Certificate in a relevant Engineering or Construction field with extensive experience in site supervision Minimum 3 years working experience in project engineering especially in Electrical Engineering project. Strong knowledge of site operations, safety, quality requirements, and coordination of workers and subcontractors. Experience leading site supervisors, draugtsmen, sub contractors and direct worker. Comfortable working in Site. Strong interpersonal communications.
