# Project Engineer **USBC Interiors| Urban Science Interiors** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Project Engineer Department: Projects Location: Dubai, UAE Reports To: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, mainly in interior fit-out projects Job Summary The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and supervising engineering, technical, and site activities for interior fit-out projects . The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in fit-out works and be capable of coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering and site activities for interior fit-out projects . Ensure fit-out works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements. Review architectural, interior, MEP, joinery, and other relevant project drawings. Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. Coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior fit-out works to avoid site clashes and delays. Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions. Coordinate with design and drafting teams to resolve technical and site-related issues. Monitor daily site progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved project programme. Supervise subcontractors and site teams and ensure proper execution of fit-out works. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and quality comply with project requirements. Coordinate consultant/client inspections and obtain necessary approvals. Coordinate material requirements with procurement and ensure timely availability of materials at site. Monitor installation of partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, wall finishes, painting, and other interior fit-out works . Coordinate with MEP teams for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other services. Identify technical issues, site constraints, and potential delays and report them to the Project Manager. Ensure all works comply with project specifications, UAE regulations, HSE requirements, and company standards. Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain required quality and safety standards. Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documentation. Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical and progress updates. Assist the Project Manager in monitoring project costs, variations, and additional works. Coordinate snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover activities. Ensure project documentation, as-built drawings, warranties, and handover documents are properly maintained. Perform any other project-related duties assigned by management. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum 3–5 years of experience, with strong experience in interior fit-out projects. Candidates who have mainly worked on commercial, hospitality, office, retail, airport, or high-end interior fit-out projects will be preferred. UAE/GCC experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods and site execution. Good understanding of architectural, interior, MEP, and joinery coordination. Ability to read and understand construction, architectural, MEP, and shop drawings. Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office. Knowledge of project scheduling, reporting, and project documentation. Strong coordination and communication skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
