The role requires close coordination with Siemens, hospitals/clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, within the agreed schedule, and in accordance with technical, quality, and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong project coordination skills, technical understanding of MEPF and healthcare facilities , and experience handling medical equipment, diagnostic imaging systems, construction/fit-out, or other high-value technical equipment projects. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning and Coordination Manage assigned projects from initial planning through final handover. Develop and monitor project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate project activities among clients, hospitals, contractors, suppliers, Siemens, and internal departments. Conduct project meetings and coordination activities as required. Monitor project progress and immediately escalate delays, risks, technical issues, and other concerns. Ensure that project requirements, specifications, and deliverables are clearly communicated to all stakeholders. 2. Site Readiness and Pre-Installation Conduct or coordinate site assessments prior to equipment delivery and installation. Verify site readiness based on equipment and manufacturer requirements. Coordinate requirements related to MEPF, structural, electrical, mechanical, civil, HVAC, plumbing, power supply, grounding, network/data, and other facility requirements . Review site conditions, layouts, drawings, and technical requirements. Coordinate with hospital engineering/facilities teams and contractors to address site deficiencies before equipment delivery. Prepare and monitor site readiness checklists and action items. 3. Equipment Delivery and Logistics Coordination Coordinate equipment delivery schedules with the client, logistics team, suppliers, contractors, and installation teams. Ensure that delivery conditions, access routes, loading/unloading areas, storage areas, and lifting requirements are properly prepared. Coordinate equipment movement and delivery activities, particularly for high-value and sensitive medical equipment. Ensure proper documentation and coordination prior to delivery. 4. Installation and Integration Supervise and coordinate medical equipment installation activities. Coordinate with installation teams, contractors, hospital personnel, and technical specialists. Ensure installation activities are performed according to approved plans, technical specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Monitor interface requirements between the medical equipment and hospital infrastructure. Coordinate equipment integration with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, network, structural, and other required systems. Identify and resolve installation-related issues and technical concerns. 5. Testing and Commissioning Coordinate testing, commissioning, and equipment verification activities. Ensure that all installation and site requirements are completed prior to commissioning. Coordinate with technical teams, Siemens representatives, hospital engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders during commissioning. Monitor punch-list items and ensure timely resolution. Assist in documenting test results, commissioning activities, and project completion requirements. 6. Client Acceptance and Handover Coordinate final inspection, acceptance testing, and client sign-off. Ensure completion of punch-list items and outstanding project requirements. Prepare and/or consolidate required project documentation for turnover. Coordinate the submission of manuals, certificates, test reports, as-built documents, warranties, and other required documents. Facilitate the formal handover of completed projects to the client/end user and relevant internal teams. Ensure that all project deliverables are properly documented and closed out. 7. Project Monitoring and Reporting Track project progress against approved timelines, scope, and deliverables. Prepare regular project status reports and updates for management. Maintain project documentation, records, schedules, meeting minutes, and correspondence. Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions. Assist in identifying potential project delays and developing mitigation plans. Ensure proper documentation of changes, approvals, and project decisions. 8. Stakeholder Management Maintain professional working relationships with: Siemens representatives Hospital/Client representatives Hospital Engineering/Facilities teams Contractors and subcontractors Suppliers and vendors Internal Sales, Service, Logistics, Finance, and other departments Act as a key project coordination point between the company, client, technical teams, and external stakeholders. Ensure timely communication and resolution of project concerns. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in: Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering Biomedical Engineering or other closely related engineering fields Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME) or Electrical Engineer (EE) . Certification or training in any of the following is an advantage: Project Management Construction Management Healthcare Technology Biomedical Equipment Facilities Engineering MEPF Engineering Experience Preferably 2–3 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Management, or related technical project roles. Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred: Medical equipment installation Diagnostic imaging systems Hospital construction or fit-out MEPF projects Healthcare facilities High-value technical equipment Equipment relocation, replacement, or upgrade projects Site preparation and facility engineering Experience managing projects from planning through installation, commissioning, acceptance, and handover is highly preferred.
