This is a senior construction leadership position on a large, complex cGMP project currently progressing through Basic Design, with groundbreaking planned for early next year. The Project Director will hold a senior leadership position within the project JV, working closely with the client and wider project leadership team to drive successful construction delivery. The Role Responsibilities will include: - Providing senior construction leadership across a major Life Sciences project - Leading and coordinating large, multidisciplinary project teams - Driving safety, quality, schedule and overall project performance - Managing senior client, JV and project stakeholder relationships - Providing leadership through construction planning and execution - Identifying and resolving project risks and delivery challenges - Ensuring execution meets the requirements of a complex cGMP environment - Acting as a senior representative within the project leadership team What We're Looking For We are interested in speaking with experienced Project Directors, Project Executives and senior construction leaders with: - Significant pharmaceutical, biotech or Life Sciences construction experience - Strong cGMP project experience - Experience delivering large-scale capital construction projects - A proven track record leading complex construction teams - Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management capabilities - Excellent safety and construction leadership credentials - Experience on projects valued at $500M+ strongly preferred - Experience working within JV, EPCM or similarly complex delivery environments beneficial This is a site-based position in Central Illinois , requiring attendance five days per week. The Opportunity This is an opportunity to take a senior leadership position on a $1B+ pharmaceutical facility expansion , joining during the design phase and playing a major role as the project progresses into construction.
