This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction management, and proficiency in advanced project management software. As a Project Director, you will drive project success by managing teams, coordinating schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining budgets. Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, fostering client satisfaction and organizational growth. Duties - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations - Manage multidisciplinary teams across construction sites, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment - Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate timelines effectively - Oversee construction budget management, including cost estimating, tracking expenditures, and managing financial risks using HeavyBid or comparable tools - Ensure strict adherence to construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout all project phases - Review and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to facilitate accurate execution of work - Coordinate construction schedule activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize workflow and resource allocation - Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for documentation, progress tracking, and communication purposes - Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control measures, and compliance with safety protocols - Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), daily reports, and regulatory filings - Lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships Qualifications - Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a focus on civil engineering or related fields - Strong proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite - Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling techniques, cost management strategies, and regulatory compliance standards - Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards - Skilled in reading construction plans and schematics accurately to guide project execution - Deep understanding of contracts administration and construction law principles - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines - Construction site experience with familiarity in managing complex infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders - Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a culture of safety and excellence - Join us as a Project Director if you’re passionate about leading transformative infrastructure projects that shape communities.
