In this role, you will oversee quality assurance, manage project finances, coordinate sub-contractors, site operations, and ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities: - Handling tendering, quoting, and full procurement workflows. - Managing progress payment applications (claims), cost reports, and variation submissions. - Facilitate the induction of machinery and personnel at active sites, following safety protocols, and operational efficiency. - Prepare all necessary paperwork before and during contract execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth project commencement. - Cost estimation and quantity take-offs to support tender processing, optimizing budget allocation. - Procure materials, ensure timely delivery, and maintain supplier relationships. - Developing detailed work programs for project sites, meticulously planning and coordinating tasks to achieve project milestones efficiently. - Interpretate and analyse specifications, drawings, and procedures relevant to ongoing works, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical standards. - Generate reports on costs and programming for ongoing projects, giving valuable insights to stakeholders and facilitating informed decision-making. - Construction coordination and management - Quality assurance of construction delivery - Provide overall engineering leadership to the project or area of responsibility within the project. - Provide technical oversight of the project to ensure technical objectives of the project are being met and be a driver for the resolution of technical problems. Skills & Experience Required: - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering , Construction Management , or a related discipline. - Minimum 3 years experience - Proven experience as a Site/Project Engineer within civil infrastructure or commercial construction. - Strong commercial acumen with experience handling variations, claims, and BOQs. - Solid understanding of WHS legislation, SWMS, and ITP processes. - Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site crews. - Ability to read and understand construction plans is a must On Offer: - Immediate start - Full-time position - Long-term work for the right candidate - Career Progression - Work alongside a high-performing team.
