Project Coordinator

Job Title: Project Coordinator – Fitout Company: Kalandoor Location: Dubai

Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator – Fitout to support the planning, execution, and delivery of interior fitout projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day fitout project activities across multiple sites
• Liaise with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
• Track project schedules, budgets, and material procurement timelines
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (BOQs, schedules, reports, RFIs)
• Monitor site progress and report deviations from plan to the Project Manager
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and building regulations on site
• Support tendering and vendor evaluation processes
• Coordinate approvals, permits, and inspections with relevant authorities
• Manage communication between client and internal teams to resolve issues promptly
• Maintain updated records of drawings, change orders, and material specifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in fitout, interior, or construction project coordination
• Strong knowledge of fitout processes, materials, and site execution practices
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project) and AutoCAD (preferred)
• Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license (if site travel is required)

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in commercial, retail, or corporate fitout projects
• Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environ
