Precept Environmental provides superior consultation primarily to the healthcare industry to help manage the hazards associated with waterborne and airborne pathogens that can lead to disease. OUR TEAM IS GROWING: We are currently looking for a Project Advisor/Account Support Specialist to work with our wonderful customers in the Greater Los Angeles area, and adjacent counties. There may also be overnight travel to visit new customers in nearby states. WHAT DOES A P.A. DO? This is a hybrid position. You will work in the field with customers and remote from home-office to complete documentation and attend some meetings. Our physical office is in Lake Forest when we have company meetings. We will teach you all about the following: Supporting all aspects of customer Water Management Programs including onsite hazard assessment surveys and analytical sampling Water sampling in hospital environments, and sterile processing departments Interpreting lab results and preparing written documentation for customer compliance with authoritative agencies. Supporting other consulting projects, like indoor air quality testing Participate in ongoing customer relationship activities and industry organization events, such as California Society for Healthcare Engineering (CSHE) and Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) WHAT MIGHT MAKE YOU A GOOD FIT? These skills and behaviors will set you up for success with Precept. Outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills Excellent written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365. Strong work ethic, motivated self-starter that is willing to take initiative Enjoy working in a hospital and healthcare environment Enjoy working independently to manage and complete customer projects. Dynamic schedule working in different environments on a daily basis. Excellent attention to detail, as the analytical reports that are generated must be precise. A clean driving record and willingness to drive. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or background in sciences (biology, microbiology, chemistry, environmental sciences, etc.) Experience in Sterile Processing Departments a plus, but not required WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
