For Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the successful candidate will support the delivery of the program by applying strong analytical judgment and a thorough understanding of established guidelines, conducting research and analysis to support risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, or service delivery, and demonstrating initiative in organizing work, managing resources, and resolving complex problems. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will, under the supervision of an officer, be tasked with a variety of duties within one of the following streams: Risk and Program integrity Analyze complex documents and data from individual cases and data sets to identify trends, anomalies, and fraud patterns, and prepare recommendations accordingly Prepare analytical and risk assessment reports to support program integrity objectives Engage with stakeholders as required to gather or validate information relevant to risk analysis Contribute to risk intelligence functions, including managing relationships with information sources, to help calibrate the mission's advanced analytics and risk assessment/workload tools Migration Diplomacy and Stakeholder Engagement Engage with external partners and stakeholders in support of Canada's migration objectives and core program needs Gather and synthesize relevant information, including through stakeholder relationships, to support program priorities Draft reports, briefing notes, and other analytical products to support decision-making and strategic planning Draft social media content and contribute to strategic planning for social media and broader stakeholder engagement Plan, coordinate, and support outreach events and Engagement activities related to migration Service Delivery and Caseload Management Review caseloads and inventories to identify trends, pressures, and emerging operational risks Provide recommendations to the Unit Manager on inventory management strategy and workload calibration Demonstrate sound judgment in analyzing all lines of business and flag complex or high-profile cases to the supervisor. Education - this position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or Undergraduate diploma from a legally recognized Post Secondary Institution (at least 3 years of study). Language - the following language and proficiency level is required for this job: An advanced proficiency level (reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking) in English. Candidates will be formally assessed or requested to provide proof of certification on this level. Experience - to perform the duties relevant to this job, the following are required: 1) A minimum of 2 years' recent* and relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: Risk analysis, fraud detection, and program integrity Stakeholder engagement or partnership/diplomacy functions Immigration service delivery, including reviewing applications for pre-assessment, caseload or inventory management, developing tools to support inventory management; or Data analytics and use of technical tools (such as VBA, Power Query, or Power BI) to support operational reporting 2) Experience using standard office software such as MS Office (Outlook, OneNote, Word, and Excel). *Recent experience is defined as within the last 5 years. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications: Master's degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution Fluency in French (spoken, written, comprehension) Fluency in Filipino (spoken, written, comprehension) Experience working on Canadian immigration applications Experience using the Global Case Management System (GCMS) Experience designing and developing tools, dashboards, and databases using Microsoft 365 applications, including Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps Experience developing or modifying solutions using programming or data-query language Experience using technical and presentation skills, including Canva or similar to develop professional visual and presentation materials OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Operational requirements will be assessed on a "meet/does not meet" basis and can be used to determine right fit of a candidate for the position: Hours of Work: Normal hours of work of work for this position are in accordance with Locally-Engaged Staff regulations of 37.5 hours per week.
