Position Summary: The Program Analyst I supports programmatic reporting and grant deliverables through detailed data entry review, consistent formatting, aggregation, and foundational-level analysis. This entry-level role plays a critical part in ensuring that data collected across programs is accurate, clean, complete, and structured in a way that aligns with funder and compliance requirements. Analysts at this level often work behind the scenes to ensure all data inputs are clearly documented, review-ready, and structured to support outcomes measurement and longitudinal tracking. The Analyst I will routinely interact with internal stakeholders and program leads to clarify data inconsistencies, track missing or outdated information, and assist with the preparation of reporting templates and supporting visuals. In addition to managing raw data cleanup, they may support the development of automated reporting tools and dashboards under the guidance of senior analysts. This role helps ensure all data produced by the organization is both operationally useful and compliant with external expectations. The Analyst I is a learning role, and analysts in this position will have the opportunity to gain experience with Tableau, internal systems like HopeHub, and cross-functional collaboration with other teams like development, compliance, and client services. The successful candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to take ownership of routine and project-based data work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating messy or fragmented data into structured formats and who is eager to build foundational skills in data reporting, automation, and stakeholder communication in a nonprofit setting. Preferred Qualifications: 1–2 years experience in data entry, program reporting, grant compliance, or similar administrative data work Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to Tableau or SQL is a plus Excellent attention to detail, organization, and basic data manipulation skills Mac proficiency: Comfortable working in a Mac/Apple environment, as Macs are the primary computers used by our analyst and development teams. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Review and clean case management data across multiple sources Aggregate program data to support funder-specific metrics and internal monitoring Prepare tables, charts, and visuals in Excel Assist with report formatting and submission under guidance from more senior analysts Communicate with program staff to clarify missing or inconsistent entries Build and maintain documentation logs for data review cycles Contribute to the development of standard templates for recurring reporting Assist in light dashboard development or QA for more senior analysts Develop and maintain trust and positive relationships with Restore Hope partners and stakeholders. Advocate for individuals and families. Participate in Restore Hope meetings and training. Promote organization and community collaboration.
