Position Overview

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily manufacturing operations, providing hands-on leadership to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently achieved.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can motivate employees, improve production performance, establish accountability, and identify opportunities for operational improvement. This individual will play an important role in shaping the production environment and supporting the company's continued growth.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position based in Lyerly, Georgia.

Work Schedule

The position will initially follow a Monday–Friday schedule, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM , during the initial operational period. As production operations continue to develop, the position will transition to the company's standard 12-hour rotating shift schedule .

The regular schedule will follow one of two team rotations:

• Shift A: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Sunday.
• Shift B: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday.

This rotating schedule supports continuous manufacturing operations while providing a structured workweek.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and consistent workflow.
• Lead, supervise, train, and develop team leads and production employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Establish clear production expectations, workflows, and operating procedures.
• Monitor production performance and ensure established output and efficiency targets are achieved.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure products meet company specifications.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Identify production challenges, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report key production metrics, including output, efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime.
• Collaborate with management, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support production requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain proper organization, cleanliness, and discipline throughout the production floor.
• Foster a positive, professional, and performance-driven workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Solar manufacturing is encouraged, but not required.
• Strong understanding of production operations, planning, and scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and adapt in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a Production Supervisor or similar leadership position.
• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred, but not required
• Solar manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in Chinese/English or Spanish/English is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $70,000–$80,000 , depending on qualifications and experience.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
