Position Summary

The 1st and 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of approximately 30 production employees per shift in the manufacturing of automotive interior components. This role ensures daily production goals are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, resolve issues quickly, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all production activities for assigned shift
• Manage a team of 30 employees, including operators, assemblers, and line leads
• Ensure safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies are followed
• Monitor production output and workflow to meet delivery targets
• Communicate daily goals and performance expectations to team members
• Identify process or equipment issues and coordinate solutions with Maintenance and Engineering
• Train, coach, and evaluate staff to promote growth and accountability
• Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate updates to management

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of production or manufacturing leadership experience (automotive preferred)
• Proven ability to supervise teams of 20–40 employees in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methods a plus
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings or weekends if required
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
