About us

We make microbial products for agriculture, wastewater, livestock, and aquaculture. We grow our own strains, dry them, blend them, and pack them in Belgium. We’re a small team, so the production supervisor has a direct effect on what goes out the door.

What you’ll do

• Run daily production: blending, packout, labeling, and getting orders staged to ship
• Lead and schedule the production crew, train new people, and keep the work moving when plans change
• Follow and enforce our GMP procedures. That means cleaning mixers to SOP, adding ingredients in the right order, mixing without overheating product, and keeping dust collection running
• Keep the equipment running. This covers routine maintenance on mixers, fillers, conveyors, sealers, compressors, and dust collectors, plus first-line troubleshooting and repairs when something goes down
• Set up and adjust equipment for changeovers, and help install and commission new equipment as we add to the line
• Record batches, cleaning, and packout in our batch tracking system (MARKOV) so every lot can be traced
• Pull QC samples and get them to the lab, and flag anything that looks off before it ships
• Help with fermentation tank cleaning and changeovers
• Keep the floor safe: PPE, powder handling, lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and equipment checks
• Work with the lab and the office on priorities so customer orders go out on time

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years in manufacturing, food, feed, chemical, or similar production work, with some time leading people
• Solid mechanical ability. You can use hand and power tools and track down the cause of a problem instead of guessing. Experience with motors, belts, bearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, or basic electrical troubleshooting is a big plus
• You’re comfortable with SOPs, batch records, and lot numbers, and you take documentation seriously
• Proficient computer skills (data entry, email, spreadsheets)
• Able to lift 50 lb and be on your feet for a full shift
• Forklift experience is a plus. GMP, ISO, or food safety training is a plus
