Production Oversight Coordinate and manage daily production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery timelines. Monitor production flow and make adjustments as necessary to ensure efficiency and minimize delays. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings with the production team and section supervisors to discuss priorities, challenges, and updates. B. Quality Check Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols throughout the production process Conduct random and regular inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards Collaborate with the Quality Controllers and Product Specialist to analyze quality reports and address any recurring issues. C. Supervision Lead, motivate, and develop production employees through effective training programs and performance evaluations. Create a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and innovation Manage/allocate manpower to ensure adequate coverage for production needs, including scheduling and overseeing absenteeism D. Safety Compliance Enforce safety measures and conduct regular safety training sessions for all production staff Monitor workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions as necessary Ensure that production employees comply with the prescribed uniform and follows company procedures and policies E. Documentation & Reporting Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement Maintain accurate production records. Document and communicate any production issues or challenges to upper management for timely resolution. F. Process Improvement Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for quality improvement. Participate in root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and develop corrective actions. Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives Participate in cross-functional meetings to address production challenges and share insights on potential improvements. A. Other Duties: Assist in additional tasks as needed to support the team and company objectives. Perform other tasks as needed in other areas or sections. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Production Efficiency: The percentage measure of actual production output versus planned output. Quality Rate: The percentage of products meeting quality standards versus total products produced. Lead Time: The measure of time taken from the start of production to completion of products. Reporting Timeliness: The measure of how quickly the required reports are submitted. Collaboration: The feedback from production teams and other departments on the support you provide and overall collaboration. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or any related field; Relevant years of experience in a Furniture/Manufacturing company in similar position held will be considered in absence of college or bachelor degree. Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with quality management system is an advantage. Skills: Keen attention to details. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.Familiarity with woodworking machinery and production techniques. Certification in quality management or production management is a plus. Working Conditions: Primarily be working in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to machinery and varying noise levels with frequent visits to the whole production area. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month Benefits: On-site parking Paid training Work Location: In person
