Working hours to be discussed at interview. You will be responsible for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical instruments and providing sterile procedure packs to Endoscopy and the NHS Trust. Experience of working in an accredited Sterile Services unit is preferable. However training will be offered to right candidate. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sterile Services Department, so that its personnel, plant and other resources are organised to meet the present and future needs of the Trust and other stakeholders, for the decontamination and sterilisation of surgical equipment. FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services. WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses. All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
