# Production Manager - (Quarry/Asphalt/Aggregates) **Nass Group & Corporation** · Askar · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role The position oversees all aspects of production, including Quarry operations, Asphalt production at Hidd Asphalt Plant, Aggregate production and supply, Recycling activities (C&D), Crushing, Screening, Raw material availability, Plant performance, Maintenance coordination, Manpower planning, and Production scheduling . Operating across Nass Asphalt portfolio of multiple projects and supporting a workforce of more than 120 employees , the Production Manager plays a key role in ensuring uninterrupted material supply and reliable production performance. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, maximizing plant utilization, reducing downtime, identifying and addressing resource gaps, and ensuring optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and raw materials and works closely with Project Management, Maintenance, Quality Control, HSE, Procurement, Logistics, Commercial and Sales teams to ensure that production requirements are met on time and to the required specifications. Through effective planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting, the role enables project teams to focus on delivery excellence while minimizing production-related constraints and resourcing challenges. Managing overall quarry, asphalt, crushing, screening, recycling and aggregate production operations. Ensuring continuous availability of raw materials and finished products to meet project and customer requirements. Planning and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Maximizing plant and equipment utilization while minimizing downtime and production losses. Coordinating with Maintenance team to ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance. Monitoring production costs and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Managing manpower, equipment requirements and ensuring optimum deployment of the workforce across operations. Monitoring production performance through accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Identifying operational bottlenecks, resource shortages, and potential supply risks and implementing corrective actions. Coordinating blasting activities with the blasting engineer to ensure all blasting activities are carried out strictly in accordance with applicable laws, permits, approved procedures, and company HSE requirements. Coordinating with Operational Manager, Project Managers, Sales Staff and Commercial Department to ensure production priorities are aligned with project schedules. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for recycling of Construction & Demolition material, Waste Asphalt, EAF Slag and Plastic waste. Maintaining high standards of workforce communication, engagement, discipline, and safety. Effective utilization of people, plant, equipment and facilities to achieve departmental and Company objectives Improve the capabilities of the production team through training and mentoring, and holding team members accountable for their actions. Supervise subcontractor performance and ensure their adherence to procedures and confirm quality of their work Maintain production quality and liaise with lab manager for continues product improvements Maintain plant calibrations Report potential problems and solutions to management and prepare monthly reports and KPIs Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to labour laws, safety standards, and company policies. Operates independently under general guidance from the General Manager & Operations Manager Supervision is exercised over Quarry/Asphalt Plant/Crusher Teams/C&D Facility Profit and Loss for the Production Department Requirements Preferred Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering / Civil Engineering / Minerals Management Technology Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required in a GCC Country in similar position Strong communication and coordination and analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive cases with confidentiality and empathy Familiar with labor laws Familiar with business practices Safety Health and Environmental Management Personnel Management Quality Management Maintenance Management Project Management Benefits Appx 40% in the Office & Facilities & 50% in the Sites, 10% in Head Office (flexible to suit needs) Normal working conditions 6 Days a week (Saturday to Thursday).
