Production Manager - Plastic Factory

WE ARE HIRING | PRODUCTION MANAGER – PLASTIC FACTORY

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee the complete production operations of our plastic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in plastic manufacturing processes, production planning, machinery maintenance, quality control, and operational efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production operations of the plastic manufacturing facility.
• Plan and execute production schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Oversee plastic manufacturing processes, including extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, and related operations, as applicable.
• Monitor machine performance, production output, downtime, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery to minimize breakdowns.
• Manage raw materials, including plastic resins, additives, and masterbatch, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Maintain product quality standards and minimize production defects, scrap, and wastage.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality control, warehouse, and logistics departments.
• Monitor production costs, manpower utilization, material consumption, and operational budgets.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality management standards.
• Lead, supervise, and develop production teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in plastic manufacturing factory operations, preferably in a Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of plastic manufacturing machinery, production processes, and raw materials.
• Experience in production planning, machinery maintenance, quality control, and cost optimization.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Ability to manage production targets, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE or with a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: AED1.00 - AED10.00 per month
