Production Manager – Joinery Manufacturing

Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production activities within the joinery manufacturing facility, ensuring all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and optimal inventory levels using ERP system. Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall quality control standards. Oversee assembly processes, ensuring adherence to mechanical specifications and safety protocols. Monitor production KPIs, analyze data for continuous improvement opportunities, and adjust workflows accordingly. Maintain rigorous quality control procedures to meet product specifications and customer expectations. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability across all shifts, providing training and support as needed. Experience Proven experience in manufacturing management within joinery or wood-based product environments. Strong knowledge of ERP system(s) for inventory management and production planning. Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles. Mechanical knowledge related to joinery equipment, assembly techniques, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with supply chain management practices, including procurement, logistics, and inventory control. Experience in quality control procedures and maintaining high standards of product consistency. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, communicate effectively, and drive operational excellence.
