Production Manager - Joinery & Fitout

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager – Joinery & Fitout to oversee daily production operations, manage the joinery workshop, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products in accordance with project specifications and company standards.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in joinery manufacturing, interior fitout, production planning, workforce management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily production activities in the joinery workshop.
• Plan and schedule production according to project requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee the manufacturing of custom joinery items, including cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, wall panels, and other interior fitout elements.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, engineers, procurement, and site teams to ensure smooth production workflow.
• Monitor production progress, material consumption, labor productivity, and operational costs.
• Ensure all products meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Manage workshop staff, including supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, and other production workers.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and workshop resources to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and hardware.
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with workshop safety standards.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure all completed items are properly inspected and delivered to project sites according to the agreed schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in joinery production and interior fitout.
• Proven experience managing a joinery workshop or production facility.
• Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, hardware, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Experience in production planning, manpower allocation, quality control, and cost management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• UAE experience in joinery and interior fitout companies is highly preferred.

A practical, results-oriented professional who can independently manage workshop operations, improve production efficiency, control costs, maintain quality standards, and ensure on-time delivery of joinery items for multiple projects.
