Production Manager – FMCG
Job Summary The Production Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment. Responsible for ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with consistent quality, while optimizing resources and driving continuous improvement. Position: Project Manager- Food manufacturing Company Industry: Food manufacturing Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig Work Schedule: Full-time, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Salary: Php 45,000- Php 60,000 Work Set Up: Fully work onsite Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet demand fluctuations. Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards specific to FMCG. Coordinate with supply chain, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Track and report on production KPIs (efficiency, yield, downtime, waste). Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging to prevent shortages or overstocking. Train and develop staff to enhance skills and performance. Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Has experience working in Business to business set up Minimum 5 years of production management experience in FMCG or food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage. Skills Ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Proficiency in production management software and MS Office. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
