Production Manager

Description:

The Production Manger will oversee day-to-day production activities under direction from the Director of Operations, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments. - Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data. - Regularly inspects and evaluates products for quality and defects. - Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills. - Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health. - Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment. - Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing field, required.

- 3 years’ supervisory/management experience. - Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to function well in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software. - Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies, preferred.

Physical Requirements :

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking through production facilities. - Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. - Regularly required to be exposed to outdoor elements.
