# Production Manager **SPI Corporation** · Meycauayan City 3020 P03 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with quality and food safety standards. The role is accountable for achieving production targets, optimizing resources, minimizing costs and waste, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Production Planning and Execution Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet customer demand and business objectives. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production orders. Coordinate with Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production. Optimize manpower, equipment, and material utilization to maximize productivity. Operations Management Supervise and manage all production operations to ensure efficient workflow. Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational issues. Ensure proper machine utilization and coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Lead daily production meetings to review performance, issues, and action plans. Quality and Food Safety Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, sanitation standards, and company quality procedures. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve product quality issues and implement preventive measures. Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, yield, quality, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction, and process improvement initiatives. Implement best practices to reduce production costs while maintaining product quality. Health, Safety, and Compliance Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies. Promote a strong safety culture by conducting safety meetings, inspections, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability initiatives. Inventory and Cost Management Monitor raw material usage, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory. Minimize material losses, scrap, and production waste. Prepare and manage the production department budget and control operating expenses. People Management Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and production personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development needs. Promote employee engagement, discipline, teamwork, and continuous learning. Reporting and Performance Monitoring Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports. Analyze production KPIs and recommend improvement actions. Present operational updates and production performance to management. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. At least 5–8 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, with 2–3 years in a managerial role . Experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage. Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality systems, and food safety standards.
