Production Manager

Job Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all Nutraceutical production activities while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness. This role involves leading and coordinating strategic planning and production-related functions, ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and monitoring product standards. Additionally, develop and implement sanitation protocols and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe and hygienic production environment.

Duties

• Oversee and supervise all production activities.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production operations.
• Monitor product standards and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Keep detailed records of sanitation-related activities and issues, such as inspections and violations, also noting how and when each situation was resolved.
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers.
• Identify training needs and develop training programs.
• Examine manufacturing equipment to ensure it works properly and meets governmental standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production management and sanitation supervision.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Mechanical knowledge and an understanding of nutraceutical manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities to address and resolve manufacturing issues efficiently.
• Ability to apply production safety standards and follow GMP procedures.
• Commitment to proper PPE use and safe work practices.
• Ability to perform or oversee tasks involving heavy lifting, with safe lifting practices.
• Clear communication, organization, and problem-solving skills to coordinate daily production work.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
