Production Manager
Job Responsibilities: Build and maintain a strong production team including line leaders and line workers. Create and report to the Assistant General Manager the results and percentage of achievement of production department goals. Organize and coordinate production department to achieve goals including on-time delivery, efficiency, quality metrics (Quality rejected rate/Customer complaint Rate), direct vs indirect time, and training time for new employed employees. Supervise line leaders and assistant line leaders. Work with the quality department to conduct regular inspections and tests and address quality issues immediately to maintain the factory's reputation for high - quality products. Implement training plan for line leaders and line workers to make sure they understand the product, procedure, work instructions, company policy and standards of conduct. Implement and maintain procedures to satisfy the production portion ISO 9001 and additional production certifications like ISO 14001 and IATF16949, UL and ETL etc. Ensure safety procedures are being followed at each workstation. Maintain and improve the 6S in the workshop to make sure that operators work in clean and effective condition. · Coordinate with scheduling and materials teams to ensure production plans are executed according to customer delivery requirements. · Manage and improve daily production performance by optimizing manpower utilization, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and manufacturing throughput to achieve established productivity targets. · Monitor machine downtime and work with maintenance to reduce production interruptions. Education Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Production Management, Operations Management) are an advantage. Experience Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a Production Manager or equivalent leadership role within the electronics manufacturing industry. Proven experience managing end-to-end production operations across multiple production lines, work centers, and manufacturing teams. Strong background in high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) manufacturing environments, including PCBA, box-build assembly, New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, and production ramp-up activities. Demonstrated success in achieving production targets while balancing safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer-driven schedule changes. Experience in capacity planning, manpower management, production scheduling, line balancing, and resource allocation. Strong track record in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives. Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate Production Supervisors, Line Leaders, and Operators to achieve operational objectives within a manufacturing team of 100-200 employees. Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs, including productivity, efficiency, OEE, yield, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery performance. Experience working in an export-oriented (PEZA) or multinational manufacturing environment and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Program Management. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Amenable to working closely with and eventually reporting alongside/to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager Available to start within a reasonable timeline given the urgency of this search. Willing to be based on-site at Santiago LIMA Technology Center Special Economic Zone, Malvar, Batangas. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience in EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environments serving multiple customers and product families is highly desirable.
