Role Description

We are currently searching for an experienced, results-driven Production Manager to oversee our daily bottling and packaging operations. This individual will play an important role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and according to schedule while maintaining the quality standards expected of Good Spirits Distilling.

The Production Manager will be responsible for managing production personnel, coordinating daily schedules, monitoring production output, and ensuring that equipment and resources are being used effectively. This role requires a hands-on leader who can work alongside team members, solve problems, and keep production moving while maintaining a positive and accountable work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing production in a manufacturing, beverage, or food-processing environment. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential. The ability to identify opportunities for improvement, manage competing priorities, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment is critical to success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bottling, packaging, and production activities to ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Manage, train, and develop production employees and line supervisors.
• Coordinate staffing and production schedules based on customer orders and business needs.
• Monitor production efficiency, output, and downtime while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure products are manufactured, packaged, and labeled according to established quality standards.
• Work closely with the warehouse and maintenance teams to ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available when needed.
• Monitor production line performance and address equipment or operational issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
• Ensure employees follow company procedures and all applicable safety and quality requirements.
• Track production results and maintain accurate daily production records.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the production department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production management, manufacturing, or a similar leadership role preferred.
• Experience in the beverage, food, or bottling industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a production team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and production reporting.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Must be willing to take a hands-on approach and lead by example.
