Triesse Ltdforms the manufacturing division of our business and has 2 plants in Sherburn-in-Elmet, Leeds. Combined, they are one of the UK’s largest independent processors of wood-based panels and manufacturers of veneered and laminated boards. The role – Production Manager To support our growth, we are now seeking a Production Manager for one of these sites to take responsibility for the planning, coordination and control of all manufacturing activities to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, on time, in the correct quantity, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the Site Director, the role is accountable for maximising factory performance, meeting customer demand, developing the production team, and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations. The factory operates Monday to Friday and core hours are 8am to 5pm. Key responsibilities - Production & Operational Management - Wood Panel Processing & Equipment Management - Quality, Health, Safety & Environment - Commercial & Financial Management - Leadership & People Development The Person · Proven experience as a Production Manager within manufacturing. · Experience within wood panel processing, furniture, joinery, doors, kitchens, bedrooms or component manufacturing sectors. · Working knowledge of saws, CNC machining centres, double-end tenoners, edgebanders, tooling and preventative maintenance systems. · Understanding of OEE and manufacturing performance metrics. · Strong leadership, communication, commercial awareness and problem-solving skills. · Proficient IT skills and ERP knowledge.
