Reporting directly to the Managing Director-UK, you will provide strong leadership across the Production team, oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, and ensure production is delivered safely, efficiently, cost-effectively and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on management role suited to an experienced manufacturing professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and leading people in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Provide effective leadership, direction and management across the Production team. Oversee the entire production process and internal site operations. Ensure manufacturing operations are as efficient and cost-effective as possible. Responsible for ensuring high standards of Health & Safety compliance across the site. Ensure ISO quality standards are maintained and continually improved. Monitor product quality and standards and implement improvement programmes where required. Lead production troubleshooting and coordinate non-standard production operations. Ensure company standards and all relevant legal requirements relating to product quality, health & safety, environmental performance and people are met and continually improved. Manage budgets relating to repairs, renewals and external contractors. Work closely with the Technical department to ensure product quality is maintained. Support and contribute to specific projects and initiatives. Respond effectively to ad hoc operational requirements and changing business priorities. Maintain awareness of relevant industry, regulatory and company developments that may affect the business. About You You will be an experienced production or manufacturing professional with strong leadership skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach. We are looking for someone who: Has 3–5+ years' experience in a Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager role. Has strong leadership and people-management skills. Has good knowledge of plant and machinery. Has excellent oral and written communication skills. Is self-motivated, proactive and able to work with initiative. Has strong commercial awareness and understands the importance of cost, efficiency and productivity. Is an excellent problem solver with a structured approach to resolving issues. Has strong attention to detail. Is flexible and able to respond effectively to changing priorities. Has good technical knowledge and a practical understanding of manufacturing processes. Is computer literate and comfortable using production and business systems. Has excellent organisational and planning skills. Works well as part of a wider team and can build effective relationships across departments.
