Production Manager Job Description Company: Gate Manufacturing Private Limited Designation: Production Manager Location: Adibatla, Telangana Department: Production / Manufacturing Experience: 5–10 Years Industry: Sheet Metal / Fabrication / Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview Gate Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for an experienced Production Manager – Sheet Metal to manage and drive day-to-day production operations. The role will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, productivity, quality, machine utilization, and timely delivery . The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication processes and the ability to lead production teams and achieve targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production activities. Manage and allocate manpower across production lines and processes. Monitor production targets, WIP, productivity, and delivery schedules. Manage sheet metal processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding, fabrication, and assembly . Monitor machine utilization, downtime, and OEE . Coordinate with Maintenance for machine breakdowns and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with Quality to control rejection, rework, and process deviations. Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, and SCM for material availability. Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements. Drive 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, productivity improvement, and waste reduction . Analyze production losses and implement corrective actions. Train, guide, and develop supervisors, engineers, and operators. Review daily production performance and submit reports to management. Ensure production is completed within quality, cost, and delivery requirements . Qualification B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering . 5–10 years of experience in production , preferably in sheet metal manufacturing/fabrication . Strong experience in shop-floor and manpower management.
