Joinery Production Manager – Carpentry / Joinery Factory Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Interior Fit-Out / Joinery / Carpentry Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Joinery Production Manager to take full responsibility for the planning, coordination and performance of our carpentry and joinery production operation. This is a management-level role for someone who can oversee multiple joinery projects at the same time, control production schedules, coordinate with design and project teams, anticipate delays, manage resources efficiently and ensure projects are manufactured and delivered on time. This is not a Carpenter Foreman or Site Supervisor position. We are looking for someone with proven experience managing the overall production process within a joinery or fit-out environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage the complete joinery production schedule across multiple active projects. Convert project deadlines into clear production targets and factory programmes. Coordinate closely with Project Management, Design, Procurement, QS and Site teams. Ensure approved drawings, materials, hardware and required information are available before production. Monitor the full production cycle from material preparation through fabrication, finishing, quality control, delivery and installation. Track progress against committed deadlines and implement recovery plans where delays occur. Identify production bottlenecks and resolve them before they affect project delivery. Optimize manpower, machinery and factory capacity to maximize production output. Coordinate material requirements and lead times with the Procurement team. Monitor material usage, wastage, rework and productivity. Ensure completed joinery passes quality inspection before dispatch. Coordinate site delivery and installation schedules with the Project Manager and site team. Maintain an accurate production tracker covering all active projects. Provide weekly production reports to Management. Escalate production risks, material delays, drawing issues and capacity concerns early. Continuously improve production planning, workflow and factory efficiency. Candidate Requirements Applicants should have: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in joinery or carpentry production management. Previous experience working in a joinery factory, custom furniture factory or interior fit-out company. Strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, hardware and finishes. Proven experience managing several projects simultaneously. Strong production planning and scheduling skills. Ability to read and understand joinery shop drawings and technical details. Experience coordinating with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Procurement and Site teams. Strong knowledge of manpower and factory resource planning. Ability to identify potential production delays before they become critical. Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills. Good reporting and Excel skills. UAE experience is strongly preferred. This Role Is Suitable For Someone Who: Thinks ahead rather than reacting only when a project becomes urgent. Can clearly identify what each project needs to move into production. Understands factory capacity and knows how to prioritize projects. Can manage demanding deadlines without compromising quality. Is confident coordinating between factory, office and site teams. Takes ownership of production deadlines and project commitments.
