Production Line Leader

We’re now looking for a Production Line Leader who can motivate others, maintain excellent standards and ensure our packing lines run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

4 on 4 off shift pattern

Day shift 8 am -8 pm available

As a Production Line Leader, you will support the Team Leader with the day‑to‑day running of your packing line. You will coordinate the team, operate machinery, manage works orders and ensure products are packed to the correct quality, specification and timeline. You will also play a key role in minimising downtime, driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and coordinate the packing team to deliver hourly and daily KPIs.
• Ensure the line runs efficiently, with all products meeting customer quality expectations.
• Maintain machinery, reporting issues promptly to Engineering.
• Uphold Quality Service Levels and champion a “right first time” approach.
• Maintain positive working relationships with QC colleagues.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, including works orders, waste recording, WIP tracking and downtime.
• Maintain packaging traceability and comply with production plans.
• Close jobs correctly and ensure all costing information is captured.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, PPE compliance and health & safety.
• Report hazards, near misses and unsafe behaviour promptly.
• Support effective management of resources and raise any performance concerns.

Job Type: Full-time
