In this role, you will analyze technical drawings, determine required materials (acrylic, metal, LED, vinyl, etc.), compute labor time, and generate accurate pricing proposals. Your work will directly impact our sales team's ability to win projects and ensure our production remains profitable.Main Duties Analyze Requests: Review project briefs, technical drawings, floor plans, and client requirements for outdoor signage, retail kiosks, and exhibition stands. Material Take-offs: Calculate exact quantities of materials needed, including substrate types, structural hardware, lighting elements, and printing vinyl. Cost Estimation: Compute complete manufacturing costs by factoring in raw materials, internal fabrication labor, machinery time, outsourcing, transportation, and installation fees. Vendor Coordination: Source price quotes from external suppliers and subcontractors for specialized materials or services to ensure competitive pricing. Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator or Cost Engineer in the signage, large-format printing, exhibition stands, or interior fit-out industry . Strong understanding of fabrication materials (wood, acrylic, metal, LEDs, vinyl) and production processes (CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, large-format printing). High proficiency in mathematics, budgeting, and cost-control estimation models. Ability to interpret technical drawings, 2D/3D CAD layouts, or design proofs accurately. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software. Prepare Proposals: Generate itemized, accurate, and profitable quotations for the Sales and Marketing team to present to clients. Production Handover: Maintain detailed documentation of approved estimates to ensure the production floor works within the budgeted material and labor limits. Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator or Cost Engineer in the signage, large-format printing, exhibition stands, or interior fit-out industry . Strong understanding of fabrication materials (wood, acrylic, metal, LEDs, vinyl) and production processes (CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, large-format printing). High proficiency in mathematics, budgeting, and cost-control estimation models. Ability to interpret technical drawings, 2D/3D CAD layouts, or design proofs accurately. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple quick-turnaround quotation requests simultaneously.
