You work directly with the product manager who builds NetAsset. You make sure the product handles depreciation and tax rules correctly, and they turn that into working software. You'll turn fixed-asset and tax rules into clear, testable requirements. You'll check that depreciation schedules and tax forms calculate correctly, and you'll support client conversations where tax knowledge matters. You'll use modern AI tools every day to do this well and quickly. This role is built as a path into product management: as you grow, you'll take on more ownership of roadmap, requirements and client relationships. Primary Job Responsibilities - Tax and Accounting Accuracy: Define how NetAsset Tax Pro should calculate depreciation (MACRS, §168(k) bonus, Section 179, book vs. tax), disposals, roll-forwards, Form 4562 and Form 4797. - Requirements Support: Turn accounting rules and client needs into clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria for the product manager and development team. - Quality Assurance: Test tax logic before it ships, using worked examples and source data. - Client Data Validation: Review client uploads and legacy migrations against source files, identify data issues, and document them clearly for the client. - AI-Assisted Work: Use AI tools (Claude Code or similar) to draft requirements, build test data, write SQL, and produce knowledge-base content. - Customer Insight: Join customer calls, implementations and support escalations, and share what you learn to help shape the roadmap. - Sales Support: Answer tax and product questions in sales conversations when deep tax knowledge is needed. - Documentation: Build and maintain NetAsset Tax Pro knowledge-base articles and onboarding content. - Team Planning: Take part in sprint reviews, roadmap reviews and quarterly check-ins with the product and development team.
