Jakarta What You'll Do : Role Overview & Structure The Associate Manager acts as a strategic bridge between brand planning and daily operations across both Luxury and Lifestyle portfolios. Moving beyond execution, this role drives inventory optimization, oversees merchandising strategies, and provides financial and operational leadership to the executive support team (LS). Core Responsibilities Financial & Portfolio Strategy: Drive merchandising proposals, demand planning, and purchase budget proposals across both LWJ and LS brands. Profitability & Margin Control: Monitor margins closely, analyze COGS, and partner directly with the Finance team to review brand programs, pricing, and discount structures. Inventory Optimization: Lead complex stock quality analyses, managing aging checks, slow movers, and discontinued stocks, while enforcing Months of Stock (MOS) thresholds. Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the liaison with Finance, Logistics, and Principals to resolve supply chain bottlenecks and execute pricing adjustments. Team Mentorship: Supervise and review the daily operational outputs of the Executive staff (LS) to ensure SAP documentation and workflows remain error-free. What You’ll Need To Succeed : Requirements Experience & Education: 5+ years in retail merchandising, commercial analysis, Finance (preferable FP&A and/or accounting), or supply chain management. A degree or strong professional background in Finance, Accounting, or Commercial Planning is highly preferred. Financial Prowess: High-level proficiency in retail math, margin monitoring, COGS analysis, and financial reporting. Systems Mastery: Advanced command of SAP and data visualization tools. Leadership Traits: Proven ability to manage cross-portfolio projects, communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.
