Alongside our extensive range of flexible packaging, we develop tailor-made solutions for our customers. Within the medical market, our customers are mainly hospitals, laboratories and diagnostics companies. Does a customer need a packaging solution that does not exist yet? We dive in and develop it together. That is where you come in. With more than 250 employees, we are growing quickly in the Netherlands and internationally. TO DO LIST - As Product Manager Medical, you own the medical packaging portfolio and drive new product development from the first customer need through to successful launch. You report to the Head of Product and work closely with the Sales Director Medical, Sales, Production, QA, Innovation, Purchasing and suppliers. - Take ownership of new packaging solutions from first opportunity through to launch; - Decide whether solutions should be developed internally, with a partner or sourced externally; - Translate customer needs and market trends into commercially viable product propositions; - Build business cases based on target markets, volumes, cost prices and sales prices; - Keep development projects moving and stakeholders informed; - Support Sales during customer visits and translate insights into portfolio opportunities; - Coordinate product introductions with Sales and Marketing; - Monitor product performance after launch; - Guide testing, approvals, certification and technical documentation; - Keep up to date with relevant medical packaging legislation and standards. EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE - HBO/Bachelor working and thinking level; - Around 5 years of relevant experience in packaging, product management, technical project management or product development; - Experience in healthcare or another regulated environment is a strong plus, but not a requirement; - Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is a strong plus; - Strong communication and project management skills; - Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. HOW - You are a genuine self-starter who picks up opportunities and gets things moving; - You would rather act and adjust than wait for perfect information; - You are commercially minded, curious and resourceful; - You can reduce complex or technical questions to their commercial essence; - You communicate easily with different people, from customers and suppliers to QA, Production and Sales; - You are organised and comfortable managing several projects at once; - You are creative, inquisitive and resilient; - You are willing to travel occasionally for customer and supplier visits.
