# Product Manager **EUROfase Inc.** · Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1L8 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role ABOUT EUROFASE Eurofase designs, sources, and distributes lighting products and electric heaters under one platform, supplying residential and commercial markets with branded and private label finished goods. We serve consumers, contractors, and designers through multiple channels of distribution. For over 30 years, Eurofase is committed to design leadership, uncompromising quality, and a competitive, customer-centric philosophy. SKU & Portfolio Management - Own the SKU lifecycle end-to-end, including new item setup, active management, rationalization, phase-out, and obsolescence, with clean cutover plans to avoid stranded inventory. - Analyze performance by SKU and product line — sell-through, velocity, margin, returns, dead stock — and provide quarterly rationalization recommendations. - Run the product line review cadence: identify gaps against competitive sets, price points, channel requirements, and market trends. - Build costing, pricing, and gross margin recommendations for new items, and maintain price files and channel-specific price structures. - Maintain the rolling 24-month product roadmap by channel, aligned to business objectives and the new product development calendar. Product Information Management - Own the product master: build and enforce the attribute schema, taxonomy, and naming conventions for every SKU across our lines. - Serve as the single source of truth for product specifications, certifications, and compliance data, including cULus, ETL, CSA, ENERGY STAR, DLC, Title 20/24 & JA8, damp/wet location ratings, and electrical ratings. - Manage photometric and technical assets, including IES files, LM-79/LM-80 reports, cut sheets, installation instructions, Revit/BIM files, and dimensional drawings. - Ensure product data is complete, accurate, and formatted to meet the requirements of downstream channels, including distributor data pools, retail item setup, and e-commerce platforms, providing publishing teams with clean, ready-to-use information. - Drive data completeness and accuracy as measurable KPIs, with regular reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. - Partner with IT and Operations on PIM and ERP workflows and act as the business lead for any future PIM or DAM implementation. Product Marketing & Sales Enablement - Write the product story: fact sheets, spec sheets, feature/benefit hierarchies, comparison charts, catalog and web copy, packaging copy. - Translate engineering language into buyer language — for a specifier, a distributor counter person, a big-box merchant, and an online shopper. Each one needs a different version of the same facts. - Build and deliver product training for internal teams, independent sales reps, and customers — launch decks, knowledge base content, competitive positioning. - Manage launch communication: timelines, readiness checklists, and launch-readiness coordination to ensure a product is ready to be sold (data, assets, certs, samples, pricing). - Support Sales and national accounts with product expertise on customer-facing activities, inquiries, and RFQs. - Act as the product-information advisor to Engineering, Operations, Quality, Customer Care, Technical Support, and Sales. QUALIFICATION & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - 3–6 years of experience in product management, product marketing, product data, category management, or merchandising, ideally in a manufacturing, building products, electrical, hardware, or consumer durables environment. - Demonstrated ownership of large SKU catalogs and structured product data. - Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and working with large data sets. - Working knowledge of an ERP item master (SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, Dynamics, or similar). - Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, factual product copy. - Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and manage competing priorities. - High attention to detail. PREFERRED SKILLS: - An engineering background, including a degree or diploma in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or equivalent hands-on technical experience. The role requires working with photometric reports, drawings, BOMs, and certification documents on a regular basis. - Lighting, LED, or electrical products experience, including knowledge of photometrics, certifications, and energy regulations.Hands-on experience with a PIM/DAM platform (Salsify, inRiver, Amplify). - Familiarity with structured data for e-commerce and AI-driven search, with an understanding that clean, complete product attributes support how products are found, not just how they are listed. - Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or an interest in automating recurring reporting rather than rebuilding reports manually each month.
