# Product Manager **Commenda Technologies Inc.** · Bengaluru, Karnataka · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role LocationSan Francisco, Bangalore, or Seattle Employment typeFull-time Location typeIn-person DepartmentProduct Commenda is building the agent for global legal and tax work. Teams use it to register entities, manage obligations, and stay compliant globally. Today that work requires additional headcount, local vendors, and disconnected systems. We’re hiring a Product Manager to turn complex legal, tax, and operational work into reliable, agentic products. You’ll define how agents use company context, interpret requirements, take action, and involve people when judgment or approval is needed. You’ll work directly with customers, engineers, domain experts, and operations to build products that deliver compliance outcomes. You’ll report to the Head of Product and start as a generalist. Over time, you may specialize in Transfer Pricing, Indirect Tax, or Entity Management. You’ll own your product roadmap, aligning it with business priorities and the company-wide roadmap. What you’ll work on Build agents that get compliance work done. Define how agents move from understanding a customer’s situation to planning and executing work. You’ll specify the context and tools they need, the actions they can take, and when they should ask for clarification, request approval, or escalate to an expert. Make agent behavior measurable and reliable. Work with domain experts to define what correct behavior looks like, build evaluation datasets, and assess performance across real scenarios and edge cases. You’ll use traces, customer feedback, and expert corrections to identify failures and create feedback loops that continuously improve the product. Turn regulatory complexity into product behavior. Help translate written requirements across jurisdictions into structured rules that capture applicability, conditions, exceptions, deadlines, and dependencies. You’ll define requirements and validate behavior with experts so our agents can determine what a customer needs to do and drive the next steps. Build and improve workflows yourself. Work alongside operations and subject matter experts to understand how tasks are performed, then build workflows using Commenda’s workflow builder. You’ll identify where agents can take over work, where human review adds value, and how to make the overall process faster and more reliable. Design how customers, service providers, and agents work together. Our products support customers buying services from Commenda, working with third-party providers, and handling work in-house. You’ll define responsibilities, permissions, handoffs, approvals, and visibility so each participant knows what needs to happen and can trust the work being done. Talk to customers, prototype, and prioritize. Lead product interviews and feedback sessions, use Claude Code or Codex to prototype user journeys, and test ideas before committing engineering effort. You’ll combine customer insight, product analytics, and evaluation results to make roadmap decisions and measure whether what we ship improves outcomes. What we’re looking for - At least two years of product management experience , with examples of products or workflows you’ve taken from an ambiguous problem through launch and iteration. - Hands-on experience with AI evaluations. You’ve defined what good output or behavior looks like, evaluated results against that standard, and used failures to guide improvements. You understand that a compelling demo is only the beginning of building a reliable AI product. - Advanced proficiency with Claude Code or Codex. These tools are part of how you work. You can independently build prototypes, explore product ideas, and test workflows. You don’t need to know how to code, but you need to communicate effectively with engineers and define precise requirements. - Strong judgment about agentic user experiences. You can reason through what an agent should do autonomously, where people need control, and how users should understand progress, review work, and recover when something goes wrong. - Exceptional spoken and written English and a confident customer presence. You can lead interviews, ask precise questions, explain complex ideas clearly, and earn customers’ trust. - Strong ownership and organizational skills. You can coordinate work across engineering, internal and external domain experts, operations, and customer success, keep decisions and dependencies clear, and drive unresolved issues to completion. - A willingness to get into the details. You’re comfortable learning how work actually happens, investigating edge cases, configuring workflows yourself, and validating results with experts. - Familiarity with Figma and product analytics tools such as Mixpanel. You use prototypes and data to understand behavior, test assumptions, and make product decisions. - Curiosity and rigor in complex domains. You’re interested in developing a working knowledge of legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, checking assumptions, and preserving the details that determine the right outcome. Experience shipping a customer-facing AI or agentic product is a plus, as is experience with Braintrust or another AI evaluation and observability platform. A background in tax, accounting, entity management, or compliance is helpful but not required. About the team We’re an ambitious, intense team spread across Bangalore, San Francisco, and Seattle. We work like a sports team: we practice, challenge each other, and take shared responsibility for winning. People here move quickly, form their own opinions, and take on problems without waiting to be assigned them. AI is part of how we build every day. You’ll work alongside engineers and domain experts who use agents to tackle complex work, experiment with new tools, and push what the product can do. We value curiosity, imagination, and the willingness to turn an unconventional idea into something customers can use. You’ll have real ownership early, direct access to the people making decisions, and room to grow as you prove what you can take on. Benefits - Competitive compensation and meaningful equity. - Health insurance. - A monthly self-improvement stipend for learning, fitness, or other investments in your development. - Opportunities for international travel and collaboration with colleagues across our global offices. - A collaborative office environment and team events.
