The Product Line Manager (PLM) is responsible for the sustainable growth of the product line in alignment with Company’s overall strategy. You will be responsible for the management of multiple land-based Aircraft Arresting System product lines and their growth through strategic product planning and marketing, including the development of robust technology roadmaps. You will have authority to develop goals, budget and business plan for product lines. The position requires experience with and technical understanding of the market segment, product line and supporting technology, and ability to integrate the “voice of the customer” (VOC) by developing relationships with customer technical leaders in crafting unique and differentiated solutions. Location: Aston, PA (on-site) Salary: $108,900 - $145,200 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in PA. We Take Care of Our People Paid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive Culture Your Challenge - Work with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new product specifications to address issues and enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). - Take a lead role in building a consensus (with engineering and sales) technology roadmap and prioritizing future R&D investments. - Management of the product line throughout the product life cycle, from concept development through development. - Assess needs and opportunities for new products through research and feasibility analysis. - Lead commercialization efforts of new products with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, program management, supply chain, etc. - Participate in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies. - Provide sales staff with comparative product analysis; feature and benefit summaries; supporting promotional material; target customers; and product marketing strategies. What You Bring - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (master’s degree in engineering or related field is an asset) - Familiarity with electro-mechanical system design and standards in aerospace/defense equipment - 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, engineering, or business development roles, with increasing levels of responsibility - Strong oral and written communication skills - Ability to travel, both domestic and international (~20%) - Must be a U.S. Citizen Who We Are Our Values Environmental, Social and Governance Curtiss-Wright Arresting Systems / ESCO, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright's EMS Division, is a world leader in emergency arresting systems for military aircraft.
