EXO Construction Group is a growing General Contracting, Design Builder, and Construction Management company based in Surrey, BC. Our main focus is within the growing demand of new construction including EXO Building System, our proprietary modular building system, and on Tenant Improvements . We are actively seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a full-time Product Integration Manager. OVERVIEW: The Product Integration Manager bridges design, product, and construction to ensure the EXO panel system is fully coordinated, buildable, and ready for manufacturing. The role sits within the Construction team and is accountable for EXO product delivery through to the completion of the project, coordinated design before fabrication, and clear application of EXO system standards. This role operates with a standard-first discipline: standard solutions are the default answer, and customization is pursued only after standard options have been fully evaluated and eliminated. Where genuine customization is required, the role ensures that need is fed back into Product Development so that it improves the system rather than creating a one-off exception. Reports to: Director of Construction (solid line) / Director of Product (dotted line) RESPONSIBILITIES: - Act as the technical lead for EXO panel system integration during preconstruction and design phases - Evaluate design intent against the standard EXO system; exhaust standard-compliant solutions before accepting customization - Identify design gaps, risks, and coordination issues early; drive resolution with consultants and internal teams - Flag genuine customization requirements and route to the Product team as product development input, maintaining the distinction between project workaround and product improvement - Integrate BIM panel models into the project using the EXO panel system artifacts; lead clash detection, trade coordination and design integration, performing this work directly or facilitating the work through others where larger projects warrant - Define and track deliverables required for manufacturing (shop drawings, etc.); facilitate alignment across product, manufacturing and construction; monitor critical path design and manufacturing activities; ensure design deliverables are complete, coordinated and issued in accordance with requirements; mitigate risks and escalate identified conflicts early - Maintain awareness of the EXO Panel transfer price and the project budget allocated to EXO Panels and facilitate the communication required across product, manufacturing and construction to ensure the panel system and associated components meet project budget requirements - Coordinate panelization strategy, sizing, repetition, transportation, and installation sequencing - Lead the review and resolution of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and constructability issues related to the EXO panel system - Work with Consultants, Project Managers and Site Teams to align design with construction execution and sequencing - Support procurement and trade coordination where it impacts system integration - Lead value engineering efforts related to EXO systems while maintaining performance, quality, and constructability objectives - Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of EXO products in conjunction with the Product team REQUIREMENTS: Education & Credentials - Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Building Technology, or related field - Architectural Technologist certification (AATO, BCIN) preferred - Working knowledge of BC Building Code and building envelope standards Technical Skills - Advanced Revit and Revu by Bluebeam proficiency (required); Adobe Suite (asset) - Ability to interpret and produce architectural and construction drawings - Strong grasp of building envelope principles: thermal, air/water/vapour barriers, structural integration - Understanding of construction methods, materials, and prefabricated systems - Knowledge of SSIP or similar building envelope technologies an asset Experience - 3–5 years in architectural design or construction coordination - Prefabricated or modular building systems experience strongly preferred - Exposure to design/documentation for construction - Proven ability to identify and resolve constructability issues - Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors on institutional, commercial, or industrial projects Professional Qualities - Clear communicator across technical and non-technical audiences; comfortable in client-facing settings - Collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-directed - Creative problem-solver who adapts to shifting project requirements - Passion for innovation in building systems and construction technology - Understands the manufacturing-to-installation workflow - Occasional travel required for site visits and client meetings What We Offer Our greatest asset is our people.
