# Product Feature Owner ADAS **Wayve** · Leonberg, Germany · `Remote` · `FullTime` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Wayve* --- ### About the Role Before the detail, here's the challenge you'd help us solve. We build the embodied intelligence that moves real vehicles safely, and the ecosystem a billion machines will run on in the future. Very few people in AI can say this. Every role here, whatever the team, plugs into that. Here’s what this particular role covers. 🛠️ ABOUT OUR PRODUCT FEATURE OWNER TEAM Wayve’s Product & Delivery team turns our AI Driver technology into valuable, scalable vehicle capabilities for global OEM partners. We work at the intersection of customer needs, product strategy and engineering delivery—defining what great looks like, aligning teams around a clear outcome and ensuring that Wayve’s technology can be brought to market safely and effectively. As part of this team, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of specific Collision Avoidance and Lane Keeping ADAS functionalities. You’ll work closely with OEM customers, product and engineering teams to define feature scope, set performance targets and guide delivery from concept through to production. Your work will directly shape how Wayve’s technology performs for customers and drivers as we progress towards higher levels of autonomy. 🧠 Your day-to-day - Act as the accountable product owner for specific ADAS features, ensuring they are delivered on time, to the agreed specification and in line with customer and business needs. - Partner closely with OEM customers to understand their requirements, represent their needs internally and align expectations without compromising Wayve’s product strategy. - Work with feature group owners and engineering teams to define feature scope, specifications, performance targets and delivery plans. - Engage throughout feature development, providing early feedback, participating in testing and supporting evaluation and validation activities. - Serve as the central point of coordination between OEMs, product and engineering teams, creating clarity, resolving ambiguity and reducing misunderstandings. - Identify risks early, manage trade-offs and keep teams aligned as feature requirements, customer priorities and the technology evolve. 🧩 What you’ll be working on: - Owning the end-to-end lifecycle of ADAS features across Collision Avoidance and Lane Keeping, including Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Evasive Steering Assist (ESA), Automatic Emergency Steering (AES) and Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM). - Defining and evolving feature specifications in partnership with OEMs, engineering and product teams. - Harmonising customer requirements across OEM partners to maximise reusable assets, scalability and efficient feature delivery. - Setting clear performance targets and ensuring features meet customer requirements, internal capabilities and agreed delivery specifications. - Supporting testing, evaluation and validation to ensure feature quality and readiness for production. - Maintaining and evolving the strategic feature roadmap as Wayve’s technology advances towards higher levels of autonomy. - Participating in agile planning and delivery rituals, helping teams manage dependencies, risks and priorities effectively. - Ensuring feature delivery aligns with relevant automotive quality, safety and compliance expectations. 🙌 You should apply if: - You have strong experience specifying and delivering ADAS features from concept through to production, particularly across Collision Avoidance or Lane Keeping functions such as AEB, LKA, ESA, AES or BSM. - You understand automotive development processes, including requirements management, the V-model, ASPICE, quality and validation. - You are confident working directly with OEM customers: understanding their needs, negotiating requirements and representing their perspective internally while maintaining a clear view of Wayve’s product strategy. - You have sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with engineering teams on feature trade-offs, feasibility, testing, evaluation and validation. - You are a strong cross-functional collaborator who can bridge technical and commercial perspectives, creating alignment across customers, product and engineering teams. - You proactively identify risks and issues before they escalate, balancing immediate delivery needs with the longer-term product roadmap. - You are comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and can bring structure and clarity without adding unnecessary process. - Experience shipping complete ADAS features into large-scale automotive production programmes would be valuable. - Knowledge of automotive quality, safety and compliance standards—including ASPICE, SOTIF, functional safety, GSR-II and DCAS—would be valuable. - Experience with machine learning, LLMs or recent generative-AI methods and architectures would be beneficial. - You bring curiosity and a forward-looking approach to developing new ADAS capabilities and advancing the customer experience. 🌱 Not ticking every box? That’s totally okay! If you’re passionate about autonomy and keen to learn, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement. More about Wayve: 🚀 Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are pioneering an end to end AI approach that enables vehicles to learn directly from real world experience, developing the ability to adapt, generalise and improve at scale. Instead of relying on hand coded rules or pre mapped environments, our AI Driver learns to drive by understanding the world around it. The result is technology that navigates complex urban environments with intelligence, precision and natural flow, unlocking meaningful advances in both safety and efficiency. We believe autonomy represents a once in a generation transformation in how people and goods move, comparable to the shift from horses to cars, and from human driven vehicles to intelligent machines. Our ambition is to make autonomy universal. Wayve’s mapless and hardware agnostic AI platform integrates with global OEM partners, enabling continuous software evolution and unlocking advanced levels of automation from L2 plus through to L4 as our core AI model scales. In a race increasingly defined by intelligence and real world learning, Wayve is taking a distinct approach, building a generalisable driving intelligence that can power any vehicle, anywhere. By combining embodied AI with scalable deployment, we are creating technology that can be shaped to each OEM brand and driver experience, accelerating the transition to a safer, more intelligent future of mobility.
