Location: General Trias, Cavite Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: On-site Job Description Gentri Ventures Inc. is looking for a Product Development Engineer to join our team and support the development, improvement, testing, and implementation of products and production processes. The Product Development Engineer will work closely with the Production, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Food Technology, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure that products meet the required standards for quality, safety, functionality, consistency, and efficiency. The successful candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of handling product development activities from initial concept and testing through implementation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve new and existing products based on company requirements. Conduct product testing, trials, evaluation, and validation. Assist in developing product specifications, procedures, and technical documentation. Coordinate with Production and QA/QC teams during product trials and implementation. Analyze product and production-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Identify opportunities for improving product quality, efficiency, cost, and overall performance. Conduct testing and evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products when necessary. Assist in establishing and maintaining product standards and specifications. Monitor product development activities and ensure that timelines and targets are met. Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to product development projects. Assist in troubleshooting technical and production concerns. Conduct research on materials, processes, technologies, and possible product improvements. Work with different departments to ensure smooth implementation of new or improved products. Assist in conducting trial production runs and evaluating results. Recommend corrective and preventive actions when product or process issues are identified. Ensure that product development activities comply with company quality and safety standards. Maintain proper records of product trials, test results, specifications, and revisions. Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field . Preferably with experience in product development, manufacturing, production, or a related industry. Experience in product testing, process improvement, or technical documentation is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to conduct product trials and work closely with production operations. Willing to work on-site in General Trias, Cavite. Work Location / Landmark Gentri Ventures Inc. Arnaldo Highway, Brgy.
