Tunbow is an advanced industrial designer and manufacturer and supplier of various electrothermic household appliances, including garment care appliances, cooking appliances and coffee machines. Key Responsibilities Concept Generation: Lead the creative process from benchmarking, trend research, and consumer insights to concept sketching and brainstorming for new home appliances. 3D Modeling & Rendering: Transform 2D sketches into high-quality 3D surface models and produce photo-realistic renderings for design reviews and marketing alignment. CMF Definition: Define and select Colors, Materials, and Finishes (CMF) for products, ensuring they align with market trends and brand identity. User-Centric Design: Focus on product ergonomics, user interface (UI) touchpoints, and overall user experience to ensure intuitive and delightful product usage. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure design integrity is maintained from the initial concept through to mass production. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related creative discipline. Minimum 5 years of solid experience in industrial/product design, preferably within the home appliances or consumer electronics sector. A strong design portfolio demonstrating a mature design process, beautiful aesthetics, and commercialized product success. Proficiency in 3D design and rendering software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, KeyShot, Alias). Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic communication and presentation layout. Good understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., plastic injection molding, tooling constraints) to ensure designs are realistic.
