As we continue to expand our product offerings, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our team. Position Overview: As a Category Manager for Lhasa OMS, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our product categories to meet market demands, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth in the Health & Wellness Industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies, collaborating with suppliers, and staying abreast of industry trends to ensure our product portfolio remains competitive and aligned with the company's objectives. Responsibilities - Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives. - Conduct market analysis, competitor assessments, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and potential risks. - Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse supply chain. - Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value and minimize costs. - Monitor and manage the entire product lifecycle, from product development to discontinuation, ensuring optimal inventory levels and product availability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, improve existing ones, and phase out obsolete items. - Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in medical technology. - Conduct regular market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats, providing insights for strategic decision-making. - Analyze category performance, sales data, and key financial metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvement. - Develop and manage category budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. - Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop marketing plans, promotional strategies, and sales initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. - Proven experience in product category management. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Advanced in Microsoft 365, Excel, Outlook. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the medical supply industry. - Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. - Netsuite and/or Magento experience is a plus.
