Procurement Manager – ELV / Security Systems UAE

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in UAE, with strong and proven experience in ELV, Low Current, ICT, and Security Systems procurement .

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, developing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial terms, controlling procurement costs, and ensuring the timely availability of materials for ELV and security projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement cycle for ELV and Security Systems projects.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with ELV and security system suppliers.
• Request and analyze quotations and prepare commercial comparisons.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders and follow up on material deliveries.
• Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Estimation, Finance, and Warehouse teams.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with project specifications, approved brands, BOQs, and technical requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Identify alternative suppliers and products to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or technical requirements.
• Maintain an updated supplier and vendor database.
• Monitor market prices and identify new suppliers and procurement opportunities.
• Support procurement planning for multiple ongoing projects.

ELV / Security Systems Experience – Mandatory:

The candidate must have strong procurement experience with ELV / Security Systems, including several of the following:

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of total procurement experience .
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Lead, or Senior Procurement professional .
• Strong and proven ELV / Security Systems procurement experience is mandatory .
• Strong knowledge of the Egyptian ELV supplier and distributor market .
• Established relationships with ELV suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, and technology partners.
• Experience working with System Integrators, ELV Contractors, Security Solutions Providers, ICT companies, or similar organizations is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, commercial negotiation, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Good understanding of ELV technical specifications, BOQs, approved brands, and project requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Good command of English.
• ERP / Procurement system experience is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is a commercially strong ELV Procurement Manager who understands the technical requirements of ELV and Security Systems and has a strong supplier network in UAE.

The candidate should be able to independently identify suitable suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, negotiate commercial terms, ensure technical compliance, control procurement costs, and secure on-time delivery for project requirements.
